Posted by Ben Skinner on Thursday, July 29, 2013

On April 28, 2013 OATHS held its third annual fundraiser at the Westside Drive-ins in Boise.  This year the event was even bigger than our previous two events because both Westside Drive-Ins (State Street and Parkcenter) participated. As a result of the generosity of all of the customers of Westside, and Chef Lou and Chris Hayes,  OATHS raised $7,236.47. Over 160 volunteers were involved in the project including 30 employees of Westside Drive-In, 30 members of Kelly Weaver’s 5th grade class at St. Joe's Elementary School, and 100 members of the Bishop Kelly History Club. With these funds OATHS sent local homeless kids to places like the YMCA camp, math camp, dance camp, cheerleading camps, and athletic camps. Thanks again to Chef Lou, his wife Renee,  and Chris Hayes for allowing us to hold our fundraiser at your incredible Drive-Ins this year.
